Friends and family are saying goodbye to Anthony Crone in Woodstock today. Crone was the victim of a fatal stabbing outside of a Hasty Market in London, a week ago today. The 24-year-old's mother and step-father live in Woodstock. A visitation and funeral is being held at the Church of the Epiphany today. Anthony's Stepfather, Richard Magee says he leaves a lot behind. "He has a baby on the way. He also has a 3-year-old daughter and a 5-year-old stepdaughter that he loved, very much." Magee talks about what kind of person Anthony was. "He was always full of life. Always had a smile on his face. He also made a lot of sacrifices as a child for his sister. His sister had severe epilepsy. He never got mad at her or anything, even though he might have felt like he was last at times, he never got angry about it." He leaves behind a total of six brothers and sisters. On Anthony's interests, his stepfather says, "He loved his cars, he liked his music and he liked his tattoos, unfortunately. (chuckling) But you know, that was Anthony." A 17-year-old boy was arrested and charged with Anthony's murder. But Magee says the family isn't concerned about that at the moment. "This is about Anthony. The law is taking care of the boy right now. The police force in London, Ontario, they have done exceptionally good work. You know, they caught him within a few hours." Anthony Crone did live in Woodstock for a few months, but lived in London for the most part. However, Magee says support from the community here has been overwhelming.
