The Christmas concert will include a mix of sacred and secular pieces
WOODSTOCK - It's a holiday tradition in the City of Woodstock.
The Woodstock Choralaires will have their annual Christmas concert at Knox Presbyterian Church on Saturday December 6th at 3:00 p.m.
It's called Merry Christmas! Merry Christmas! and it will include a mix of sacred and secular pieces. Heather Jones is a member of the Choralaires and she tells us about two of the arrangements they have planned.
"We're doing Jingle Bells in a minor key which puts it in different tone which is a lot of fun. We also have one that's Christmas in under three minutes and there are 23 different pieces woven into it!"
The show will feature about 55 to 60 vocalists and they will be singling alongside a live band, accompanied by Susan Barta.
Jones says they will also have a special guest.
"We have Mark Weatherly who lives in Stratford and he's a multi-talented person. He's a playwright, a comedian, and a storyteller so he's going to be doing a couple of different presentations within the concert itself."
The show is about two-hours long with an intermission and tickets cost $30 each. They can be purchased online here, at Wilson and Markle Jewellers, or at the door the day of. Kids under 12 will get in for free.

Heather Jones stopped by the Heart FM studio to chat with Dan and Marcie on Wednesday November 26th. You can listen to the full interview below:
