A call from a concerned citizen may have prevented an impaired driving tragedy in Woodstock. Police were called just after 2AM, about a suspected drunk driver on Nellis St. Police located the vehicle on Clarke at Warwick. They say after speaking with the woman, they determined her ability to operate her vehicle was impaired by alcohol. She was arrested and taken back to police headquarters for intoxilyzer testing. 28-year-old Krystal Cooper was charged with Impaired Driving and Driving with more than 80 Milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.
