A winter storm warning is in effect for Oxford County. Multiple types of severe of weather are expected to hit today and into Monday.
OXFORD COUNTY - Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning for Oxford County. A winter storm system is headed towards Southern Ontario and is expected to hit the County this morning. 15 to 20 centimetres of snow is expected to fall, however that could increase to around 30 centimetres. This afternoon heavy winds combined with flurries will create limited visibility for drivers.
Public Safety Canada is advising against non-essential travel as the storm will create hazardous driving conditions.
