This afternoons strong winds have led to some power outages in rural Oxford County. The largest outage is centered around the Huntingford/Hickson area. 918 homes are without power in that area, according to Hydro One. There are another 110 homes out in East-Zorra-Tavistock, south of Road 88. 72 more homes are out in the Princeton area. In Norwich Township, a tree has fallen across Pattullo Avenue, knocking down some hydro wires. There are a number of other small outages across the County, and region that the utility is working on. The wind is expected to diminish a bit later tonight. You can keep up to date on the latest Hydro One outages here.
