Environment Canada has put out a special weather statement as they track a slow moving low pressure system
A special weather statement from Environment Canada warns of rain - and a lot of it.
Meteorologists are tracking a slow moving low pressure system over eastern Texas that they expect will drift our way on Tuesday. After seeing one of the most significant rainfalls of the summer over the weekend, they warn we are not yet out of the woods.
The lower Great Lakes are expecting extreme rainfall, but in our area we are looking at anywhere from 25 to 40 mm in most places. Some harder hit areas may see upwards of 60 mm.
This special weather statement is in effect for Oxford and Brant counties.
