According to Environment Canada, we might be in for a warmer winter this year.
OXFORD COUNTY - If you're not a fan of the cold winter weather; you might be in luck.
Meteorologist Gerald Cheng says Environment Canada is monitoring certain weather signals, to predict what the coming winter will look like.
"Right now the El Nino signal is quite neutral so it's not telling us much. We're basing on other patterns to see how things will play out in the coming months."
Cheng says we could be in for warmer temperatures this year.
"From the signals that we've been looking at it suggests it will be a milder winter. But we'll have to see how fall will evolve because what happens in the fall will certainly affect what will happen in the winter."
Cheng adds we can expect above average temperatures for over the next two months.
