Stratford Police continue to search for Jay Foreman, who is wanted on several charges including assault with a weapon and resisting arrest.
UPDATE: The Stratford Police Service has received information regarding this week’s Wanted Wednesday subject, 36-year-old, Jay Foreman. Information has been received and confirmed that Foreman is currently in custody on charges in another municipality. The Stratford Police would like to thank everyone for the information provided.
STRATFORD - This weeks edition of Wanted Wednesday focuses on Jay Foreman.
Foreman is 36 years old and a warrant has been issued for his arrest. Stratford Police first ran into him on August 31st of last year after an incident in the Wal-Mart parking lot. Officers were responding to complaints of a suspicious person and when they approached Foreman, he fled the area. Police say he was driving a stolen vehicle with a woman who was wanted on several outstanding warrants.
Officers were able to track down the woman and identify Foreman, however he managed to escape. The warrant remains outstanding and Foreman is to be charged with two counts of Resist Arrest, two counts of Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle, two counts of Assault with a Weapon, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, and Breach Probation.
Foreman’s whereabouts are unknown at this time and the Stratford Police is requesting the assistance of the public in locating him.
