Spend your March Break with the Woodstock Art Gallery.
WOODSTOCK - If you have no plans for March Break, spend your week with the Woodstock Art Gallery.
The facility will be putting a March Break camp for children ages 5 to 12 during the week.
Education Assistant Dee Logan says there are spots still available to sign up.
"We've got lots of stuff going on. We've got our full March Break camp, which is almost full, so a couple spots left. So if you want to come in for that camp, make sure you are calling in or checking online and registering right away because those spots are filling up really, really fast."
Logan adds they will be also hosting a camp for older kids, ages 12 to 17, and drop-in classes for parents.
"We do have a camp available for older kids, 12 to 17 (years-old). You can come in and you can do a discover drawing class, and that's with artist Mercedes Schuster, that's happening March 11th, 12th and 13th and that's from 1:00pm to 4:30pm. So there are spots still available for that as well. And then we do have opportunities for families to come in for free drop-in, you can do some crafts and you can make some art and that's every day from 11:00am to 1:00pm."
In addition to the camps and classes, Logan says there will be new exhibitions open for the public to see.
To register for the regular March Break camp, the public can visit www.cityofwoodstock.ca. It is $150.00 for members and $175.00 for non-members.
For the discover drawing classes, it's $85.00 for members and for $100.00 non-members for all three sessions.
The event goes from March 11 to 15th, from 9:00 to 4:00pm.
