The City of Woodstock will be hosting a training session for Snow Buddies volunteers at the Southside Aquatic Centre tomorrow night.
WOODSTOCK - The Snow Buddies program is back for another year in the Friendly City.
The program partners residents over the age of 12 with someone who may need some help clearing their sidewalk and driveway over the winter months. It could be a senior or someone living with a disability.
The city will be hosting a Snow Buddies training session at the Southside Aquatic Centre on Tuesday November 8th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Those who sign up will receive training in customer service, ergonomics, and safety so they have all of the skills they need before volunteering with the program.
You can register online here or by calling 519-421-7665. Residents looking for snow removal assistance can also sign up for the program using the same link or by calling the same phone number.
