The Woodstock Museum is bringing back their Vintage Christmas Cards. People can order their set by calling the Museum, and the money brought in goes back to the Museum as a fundraiser.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Museum is bringing back its Christmas card sale ahead of the holiday season.
Each year a committee goes through the Museum's collection of vintage Christmas cards and selects a few that can be reproduced and sold for the fundraiser.
The cards have all followed a theme in previous years, Manager of Culture Karen Houston says that is not the case for this year's sale.
"In the past we have highlighted what did Santa look like because at various points he looked different ways. This year it's different because we have one with a dog, one with elves and the new one with a picture of the Museum."
The Museum card is in honour of the Woodstock Museum's 75th anniversary.
You can call the Woodstock Museum at 519-537-8411 to order a set of cards for $20, but Houston says you should do it sooner rather than later.
"We have about 100 sets because we're doing a smaller run this year and when they are out, they are out!"
The Museum launched the the first vintage Christmas card sale during the COVID-19 pandemic, because lots of people could not spend the holidays with their loved ones in person.
As Christmas draws closer, the Museum still has sets of cards available, and you are now able to visit the gift shop to purchase your set of cards.
The gift shop is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
