The Mexican worker who was struck by lightning earlier this week has died. 48 year-old Ezequiel Cervantes-Nava suffered life-threatening injuries Wednesday afternoon when he was hit by lightning while working in a ginseng field in Norfolk County. OPP say the man was walking back to take shelter in a vehicle when he was struck. When EMS arrived, the man showed no vitals signs but was revived by paramedics and medical staff at the Tillsonburg Hospital. He was taken to London in critical condition where he succumbed to his injuries Thursday afternoon. Police have contacted the Ministry of Labour.
