Car enthusiasts will be drooling over the Corvettes at Anderson's GM during the 14th annual Vette Fest.
WOODSTOCK - People are encouraged to shine up their little red Corvette and drive it over the Anderson's GM for Vette Fest.
Business Officer Manager Caroline Robic and Sales Jerry Acchione say the festival has grown into a phenomenon.
"I think we had like 44 Corvettes that first year and we were so excited," says Caroline Robic, Business Office Manager at Anderson's GM. "And now - last year we had over 180 Corvettes that were there. This is a huge deal for the Corvette owners, the show is very popular."
To take part in the show and shine there is a fee of $20 for each Corvette, but spectators are free to come in and look around.
Sales with Anderson's GM Jerry Acchione says there will also be some special show cars to take in.
"We have a C7R so that is for people who don't know, the race one. It's what everyone wants to come and look at. So we have one being dropped off by General Motors, it will not be outside, it is not for test drives so don't even ask people."
Even if you don't have a Corvette of your own, Acchione says now in the chance to climb behind the wheel and give it a spin.
"For a $20 donation - all going to the United Way - you can test drive a Corvette, take it out on the highway and actually take it for a real drive."
Vette Fest is on Saturday May 28th from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Anderson's GM in Woodstock.
