The Vets weren't capitalizing on their powerplays Tuesday night. Woodstock was home against the Paris Mounties who took a 2-0 lead going into the second period. Despite having 8 powerplay advantages in the game, Woodstock couldn't capitalize going 0 for 8. Chris Gilders finally got the Vets on the scoreboard in the second period but Paris answered back with two quick goals taking a 5-1 lead going into the third. Gilders assisted on a Brent Wallace;s goal with Devon Young to make it 6-2 in the third but the Mounties held on to get the win. Woodstock is now at 6-22-0 leaving them at last place in the West Division of the Niagara District Jr. C Hockey League. The Vets will look to rebound Friday night when they travel to Norwich to face the Merchants.
