Tavistock Braves double on the Vets 4-2.
A little time off didn't do the Woodstock Navy Vets any good.
The Vets played host to Tavistock Tuesday night, where the Braves took an early 3-0 lead halfway through the 2nd period before Woodstock got on the board with a goal from Braden Hutchison. Before the period timed out, the Vets' Michael Nutt scored with four second left on the clock.
It wasn't enough though as the Braves struck again last in the third to go on and pick up the 4-2 victory over Woodstock.
Vets' goalie Michael Roefs faced 48 shots for the second time this season. In the 6 of 11 games Roefs has played, he has faced 40+ shots on net.
The Woodstock Navy Vets will show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness at their home game Friday night against Delhi. The boys will sport their pink jerseys which will be auctioned off following the game. They will also continue to collect donations during the game.
