A late third period effort by the Woodstock Navy Vets was not enough to even the score.
WOODSTOCK - The Woodstock Navy Vets narrowly lost their Friday evening match up versus Wellesley. The Vets mounted a late period comeback, pulling goalie Jackson Swindells in the last minute of the third period. However by then it was too late, the Vets were unable to get past Applejack's goalie Tim Bester. Justin Elms and Matt Jauerning contributed to the goal tally for the Vets. Jauerning with his 1st goal of the season.
The loss drops the Vets down to 5th in the standings with a 18 and 17 record. They will look to end their losing streak this evening when they travel to Tavistock to take on the Braves.

- Delhi will suit up versus Paris 7:30 p.m.
- Wellesley will welcome New Hamburg 7:30 p.m.
- Norwich will take to the ice at Burford 7:30 p.m.
