TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH - The Township of Perth South building was damaged today after a car slammed into it.
Police say a red Pontiac Vibe was heading north on Road 122 when it failed to stop for a stop sign and was hit by a pickup truck at the intersection. The impact of the crash caused the Vibe to go off the roadway and into the corner of the Perth South Township Building. Both drivers in the crash sustained minor injuries.
The intersection was closed briefly while the vehicles were removed from the area. As a result of the collision, the driver of the Pontiac Vibe was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with Disobey Stop Sign.
