Oxford Police search for those responsible for a string of graffiti vandalism in Ingersoll.
Vandals apparently decided to try to paint the town white in Ingersoll.
The Oxford OPP says a laundry list of buildings and structures were targetted.
In a news release, the provincial police force said "The mischief was discovered shortly after 7:00 a.m." Saturday.
Police say the damage occured in the "downtown core and north up to and including Alma Street." Police say the culprits used the same or similar white paint and caused more than $5,000 in damage.

- 14 vehicles
- Three residences
- Three churches
- Two schools
- Three playgrounds and park areas including Yvonne Holmes Memorial park and the new playground equipment at Garnett Elliott park
- One fire hydrant
- One dumpster
- Four signs
- Several roadways and sidewalks
- Several sheds
- Wooden floor of downtown gazebo
Police ask anyone with information that could assist officers in the arrest of the suspect or suspects to contact the OPP at 1 888 310-1122. To leave an anonymous tip, call Crime Stoppers at 1 800 222 8477 (TIPS). Police say informants may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
