OXFORD COUNTY - Southwestern Public Health has provided a vaccine update for local seniors over 80.
The Province has identified people over 80 as eligible for Phase One of the COVID-19 Vaccination Strategy. The Health Unit is almost ready to welcome 80 year old citizens for vaccinations.
Here is the statement they just issued on Facebook:
If you have a loved one who is 80 years old or older, please inform them that vaccination details will soon be announced for Elgin-Oxford.
Important information to share:
- Clinics in Elgin-Oxford will open early-to-mid March to align with provincial timelines. Initial appointments will be available at the Agriplex for early-mid March. Details will be available soon.
- Appointments are required. Those without an appointment will be turned away from these clinics.
