Union Gas has donated $3,385 to United Way Oxford, in order to help their community goals.
Union Gas has come through in a big way for the United Way with a major donation.
Resource development Coordinator for United Way Oxford Jennifer Belleth is thrilled to announce the $3,385 donation.
"They have some incredible champions on the site there that put together a barbeque for all their workers and some different prizes and different prizes to come together as a group and raise some funds for their community."
Belleth notes that Union Gas is one of those groups who keep United Way top of mind all year 'round.
"It's inspiring definitely around the office when you have workplaces working all year round now for their community, and I would say that's where the trend has been for the last few years."
The money will be used to support United Way Oxford's community goals of Poverty to Possibility, All That Kids Can Be, and Strong Communities.
