There's still no word on why a 6-day blockade in Ingersoll ended abruptly on Tuesday. Workers had been staging a round-the-clock picket of an EMD locomotive on Ingersoll's tracks since Wednesday last week. The workers put out their fire, took down their tent and vacated the site around 2PM Tuesday. Union officials have been unavailable for comment to this point. There's word a court injunction was filed to stop the picket.
