Canadians looking to vote by mail have less than a week to apply for a mail-in ballot.
Anyone who wants to mail in their vote for the upcoming federal election needs to send in an application sooner rather than later.
Elections Canada says the deadline to apply for a special ballot is Tuesday, September 14th at 6:00 p.m.
Applicants will receive a voting kit, which includes a special ballot that needs to be mailed back to Elections Canada.
If you're voting within your district, you'll need to send in your ballot by the time the polls close in your riding on election day.
If you're voting from outside your riding, your ballot will need to be received by 6:00 p.m. Eastern time on election day.
To apply online, head over to any Elections Canada office or click here.
Elections Canada will publicize the percentage of mail-in votes for each riding.
