Woodstock Police caught a pair of impaired drivers in separate incidents over the weekend.
WOODSTOCK - A pair of impaired drivers have been caught in Woodstock.
The first incident occurred last Friday (April 26th) at 11:50 p.m. A concerned citizen approached an officer regarding a potentially impaired driver. The vehicle was observed near Beards Lane, a stop was done, and now a 22-year-old Burford native is facing a charge of operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus.
The next impaired driver was caught yesterday at 4:05 p.m. Officers responded to Oxford Road 4 and Dundas Street for a two-vehicle collision. As a result, a 43-year-old Kitchener resident is charged with operation while impaired by drugs or alcohol and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus.
In both cases, Woodstock Police would like to urge everyone to think before getting behind the wheel after drinking or doing drugs.
