PPC leader Maxime Bernier has been restricted on Twitter and cannot tweet after encouraging followers to play dirty with journalists covering his party.
Twitter has restricted the account for the leader of the People's Party of Canada Maxime Bernier.
The restrictions will prevent Bernier from tweeting until he takes down two messages encouraging his supporters to play dirty with journalists covering his campaign.
The tweets called out three reporters. CTV journalist Christy Somos was one of them. She posted a screen shot of her inbox after the post.

Another target of the tweets, Global reporter Ahmar Khan shared a similar experience on his twitter account.
If your response to media inquires about white supremacy within your party is to doxx journalists, maybe also tell said followers not to send *both* anti-Semitic and Islamophobic messages. pic.twitter.com/yf8wj9FgkJ

Twitter states that Berniers tweets violated the company's private information policy by publishing the journalists email addresses.
