The Best Western Plus Woodstock Inn and Suites takes home award from travel website
WOODSTOCK - The Best Western Plus Woodstock Inn and Suites has been awarded the 2014 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.
The award is handed out to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on the TripAdvisor website.
Director of Sales at the Woodstock hotel, Dharmesh Patel says this is actually the second time they have won this award.
"First as a Best Western and it's awesome. It just goes to show that our guests love us and our staff is doing a great job and the customers are extremely happy with our new product."
Patel says he attributes this award to the hotel's exceptional customer service.
"Any review you read there is always at least a mention of the outstanding service that was received by them. We treat every customer just like they are part of the family and we give them extra attention and overall making sure the guest experience is just outstanding."
Patel says this is really a feather in the cap for staff and pushes them.
"To continue to do the things that they do, such as giving directions or little things like recommending a restaurant or making sure a regular guest is in the same room they are always in so they get that home away from home experience."
When selecting the winners, TripAdvisor says businesses must maintain an overall bubble rating of at least four out of five, volume and recency of reviews. They also say business tenure and popularity ranking on the site are also considered.
