Expect Delays on the 403 W/B after a transport truck crashed through a sound barrier before coming to a rest in a backyard. (VIDEO)
BRANT COUNTY - A transport truck driver is lucky to be alive today after crashing through a sound barrier, before coming to a rest in a backyard on Highway 403.
The flatbed trailer was hauling a motor home at the time of the crash this morning just after 8:30 am. The West Bound lanes of the 403 are down to one lane after the crash at King George Road. Constable Ed Sanchuk says the driver is extremely lucky to be alive.
"We have some people on scene right now, trying to get the trees off the truck. I'm letting you know right now, this driver is extremely lucky to be walking away from this collisions."
Sanchuk says expect some delays on the 403 right now and is asking everyone to take their time and focus on your driving and not the collision.
