Farm Kids got a chance to strut their stuff at College Ave Secondary School today.
WOODSTOCK - Today is tractor Day at College Ave Secondary School.
At least 10 rural students were able to ride their tractors today. The school is also hosting a Tough Mudder event this afternoon.
Grade 12 student Jenna Rutherford tells Heart FM the country kids take a lot of pride in bringing their tractors to school every year.
"I take a lot of pride in bringing this, I come from a cash crop farm and a lot of the other kids come from dairy farms, cash crops and yeah we are proud to show them off, that's for sure."
Grade 12 student Annet Laan also brought one of her family tractors to school today and admits it took some convincing to get her parents on board.
"Oh yeah, this is my first year doing it, they wouldn't let me in years prior but I convinced them, I practiced and they ended up letting me."
It was quite the sight as the students showed their country pride over lunch - taking their tractors over to Wendy's.
