Toyota Official Greig Mordue on what has to be changed at the plant. "We have a number of capital investments to make. Primarily they're in the weld shop and in the paint shop. Most of our spending in the assembly area will be in process equipment and process improvement, so that's where most of our spending will be." Last year, the company announced plans for the first Toyota electric vehicle to be built in North America, but the majority of the new production will be for the internal combustion RAV4. When asked what Toyota is looking for in new workers, Mordue only said interested applicants should start here, and that Toyota has a "rigorous" recruitment process.
