Oxford Attack defeat Tillsonburg in exhibition game
The Oxford Attack Under 12 Major Atom Girls competitive basketball team defeated the Tillsonburg Tornadoes 32 -12 in an exhibition game between local teams.
Attack guards Jaime Magoffin, Beth Ewing and Ashley Docherty were relentless in pressuring the Tornado guards into multiple turnovers and creating fast break layups for their Attack teammates. Kyra Rothernel and Laila Taha also played their best defense so far this young season.
The Attack girls have improved their overall defense immensely and continue to share the basketball on offense.
Next up for the Attack is a tourney in Flamborough this weekend against some stiffer competition from many established club teams.
