The structure of Tillsonburg's Committees have been made clearer. The town's Clerk Donna Wilson says staff liaisons have been meeting since late fall to reorganize them. "Some of [the committees] were re-named, but the reason for this is when they were structured two years ago, the terms of reference and mandates weren't that clear. So committees haven't moved along and progressed like they should have," said Wilson. But the committees are re-structured now. Many of the committees have room for new members, especially youth. "We're looking for more youth to join our committees. So we're hoping that the committee members that know youth that may be interested in say Parks and Recreation or Tillsonburg Heritage that we can draw them in, so that we can bring that element as well to the committee structure," said Wilson. The applications to get involved are available on their website.
