Woodstock-Oxford Rotary Club is hosting their 38th annual Fish Fry next month.
WOODSTOCK - Woodstock-Oxford County is hosting their 38th annual Fish Fry next month.
Rotary Club member Doug Vincent says the event will see Ferguson Drive return, a D-J and the Shooting For The Stars auction.
"Ferguson Drive is the band, we also have a disc jockey so it's non-stop music for the whole night, so if the band doesn't play your song you get the disc jockey to do that. For many years the Rotary in town has been a big supporter of the WDDS initiative and helping them through the years, and so we also help support WDDS at the Fish Fry by having them come in and do their annual Shooting For the Stars Silent Auction and there's usually a lot of great items there to raise money for them."
Vincent says proceeds from the event will go back into the community to support local projects.
"It's our greatest fundraiser of the year, so we always appreciate community support. And as everyone knows, I think all of the funds we raise that night goes back into the local community. Both Rotary clubs in town are known as friends of youth, so we try and support youth programs, but that's not saying we don't also support many other programs in the community."
The Midnight Draw for a trip to CubaTickets are $40.00 each and they can purchased online. The public can also contact the Woodstock-Oxford Rotary Club at 519-537-3753.
