WOODSTOCK - Operation Sharing is hosting a taxable food drive at the No Frills on Friday.
Organizer Chris Eby says they are asking for taxable donations because you can't purchase taxable items with your Food for Friends food card.
"Taxable items because ask the people not to buy them and we give them to them. So when they go into the grocery store they have more money for food, nutritious food, so they have more to eat."
Eby says everyone has already been so generous this year.
"It's Christmas time and our hearts our out in the community for the people."
The taxable food drive is happening between 8:00 am to 4:00 at Scott's No Frills tomorrow in Woodstock.
