The Scotiabank on Woodstock St in Tavistock has been robbed. Police investigation continues.
The investigation continues after a bank was robbed in Tavistock.
Yesterday around 3PM, OPP responded to the Scotiabank on Woodstock Street after an unknown man entered the bank and demanded money.
One male employee of the bank was transported by EMS to an area hospital with minor injuries as a result of the confrontation, but he has since been released.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5'9 and in his early twenties. He had a slim build and was wearing grey sweat pants, a black puffy short coat, a black hood with a black ball cap peak underneath, black gloves and shoes, and a white shirt.
The West Region Canine Unit, West Region Emergency Response Team, The OPP Forensic Identification Unit and the Oxford Criminal Investigation Unit as well as Highway Safety Division are all assisting with the investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to come forward.
