The flu season is fast approaching and Southwestern Public Health is ready. They are launching a dashboard similar to the Covid-19 one launched last year. This time it will include influenza and other respiratory illnesses.
OXFORD COUNTY - A new dashboard is being rolled out by Southwestern Public Health.
It will be called the Respiratory Virus Activity Dashboard, and include influenza and other respiratory illnesses.
Epidemiologist, Kerry Bastian says exactly what will be included.
"Similar to the Covid-19 dashboard we launched last year, it will provide community members and our partners with an assessment of risk, as well as the trend in what is happening with cases."
Bastian says the results can be found in multiple ways.
"Once we get the desktop dashboard launched, then soon after that the mobile dashboard will launch as well."
She says, people can access the dashboard by visiting swpublichealth.ca.
