With the wind chill, it will feel like minus 25 degrees.
SWPH - There has been a cold alert issued by Southwestern Public Health.
The Health Unit covers Oxford County and has issued the alert because temperatures are forecasted to drop overnight and it will feel like minus 24 and minus 25. The cold will continue into tomorrow before warming up on Thursday.
During a cold snap, people are encouraged to do things to keep themselves from getting frostbite or hypothermia. SWPH says such conditions could affect older adults, infants, young children, outdoor workers, people who like hiking or skiing, and those who might be experiencing homelessness.
