A viscous assault on outside a TTC station last Friday is now being investigated as a suspected hate crime
Toronto police have charged a 33 year old man after a woman was set on fire Friday.
It’s alleged the man poured a liquid on the woman and then set her on fire.
The victim, who is in her 20's, was rushed to hospital with life threatening and life altering injuries.
Police say the suspect is facing several charges, including attempted murder and assault with a weapon, adding the investigation is being treated as a suspected hate-motivated offence.
