Police investigate report of a child being offered a ride by a stranger.
Woodstock Police have released a suspect description as they check out an incident reported to police this morning.
At around 8:45 this morning, a female driver stopped to speak with a child who was walking alone on Springbank, north of Devonshire.
The woman told the child that school was closed today, and offered a ride.
The child declined and told the Principal when they got to school.
The woman is described as being in her late 30's or early 40's with short dirty blonde hair. She was driving a silver Chevy Impala, possibly an early 2000 model.
