OPP warning drivers that roads are dangerous on Super Bowl due to impaired driving.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Superbowl is one of the most dangerous days on the road due to impaired driving. OPP are reminding party goers to be responsible and plan ahead if consuming alcohol. If you are a party host, remember you are responsible for your patrons. Ensuring everyone has a safe ride home or allowing guests to stay overnight are safe alternatives. OPP say party hosts are responsible for anyone consuming alcohol at your home or business.
OPP offer suggestions such as offering guests non-alcoholic beverages, avoiding drinking games, distributing local cab company numbers and arranging for a safe ride home.
