The County of Brant is hosting a Summer Kick Off party on Saturday as they get set to host a number of events this summer in Paris, Burford and other area's of the County.
BRANT COUNTY - The County of Brant is inviting everyone to an official kick off to summer.
Supervisor of Recreation Services Stacey Ellins says they have a lot of fun family activities planned for this weekend.
"The Kick Off to Summer event is the perfect way to welcome summer. We hope to see you in the community enjoying all the great activities."
The Kick Off to Summer event on Saturday June 21, 2019 at Paris Lions Park includes:
- 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm Public Swim (admission rates apply)
- 5:00 pm Free giant games, sidewalk chalk and parachute games
- 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm Free Public Swim
- Dusk Free outdoor movie showing of Mary Poppins Returns
There are many great activities scheduled for June including the:
- Car Cruise is on Sunday, June 23 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at the Burford Community Centre. Join the Burford Optimists for lunch.
- Brant Youth Centre’s (Scotland) Year End Party is on Tuesday, June 25 from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
- Free Aqua Zumba at the Paris Pool is on Wednesday, June 26 from 8:00 am - 9:00 am
- Park Picasso at the Scotland Community Centre is on Wednesday, June 26 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Free Lane Swim at the Paris Pool is on Thursday, June 27 from 7:30 am – 9:00 am
- Schools Out for Summer at the Burford Community Centre on Friday, June 28 from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm. There will be free giant games to play, the Optimists will be cooking lunch and an indoor movie, Homeward Bound, will be starting at 1:00 pm.
