Librarians, custodians, and administrative staff represented by the Canadian Union of Public Employees will begin voting today to see if they're in favour of strike action.
ONTARIO - Voting begins today for 55,000 education workers with the Canadian Union of Public Employees.
The librarians, custodians, and administrative staff will decide if they're going to strike. Their vote will end on October 2nd and the results should be in the next day.
The union appears to be in favour of strike action after CUPE officials called the Ford Government's initial contract insulting.
Ontario's five major education unions are all in the midst of bargaining new contracts with the province.
