No injuries are reported after a vehicle was hit by a stray bullet while travelling on the 401.
Oxford OPP and the Ministry of Natural Resources are investigating after a vehicle was struck by a stray bullet while travelling on the 401.
Police say the incident occurred at around 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, when the vehicle was travelling east on the highway between Sweaburg Road and the OnRoute. Officers have been able to locate a slug fragment in the vehicle's trunk area.
No one was injured and anyone with information is asked to reach out to OPP or Crime Stoppers.
Hunting safety is very important and police would like to remind hunters out there to follow all of the rules and regulations.
