24 storage units and 5 campers were broken into at the St. Marys Mini Storage Facility.
ST MARYS - Perth County OPP are investigating after a break and enter at the St. Marys Mini Storage Facility.
Police say the back fence was cut open to gain access to the compound and 24 storage units were broken into on Wednesday morning. Five recreational campers that were parked at the lot were also broken into.
The culprit used an ATV to escape and the tracks show they headed south towards Elgnfield Road. The storage company is trying to contact all of the tenants and they are still trying to determine what items were stolen.
The Perth County OPP is requesting anyone who may have observed a suspicious person or ATV’s in the area of the St.Marys Mini Storage facility, or who observed an ATV along Elginfield Road (Hwy 7) during the time in question, to contact them at 1-888-310-1122.
