A Led Zeppelin tribute band will be playing a fundraising concert at the Norwich Community Centre.
NORWICH - It will be a rock show to raise money in Norwich.
On November 22nd, Led by Zepplin will be playing at the Norwich Community Centre. The band is made up of four people and they all love Led Zeppelin's music. Cornish Entertainment Ltd is helping put on the event, and Founder Ethan Cornish says there is a donation to a good cause.
"We are donating a portion of our proceeds back to Victim Assistance Services of Oxford. We picked that group because we find most people donate to some of the bigger ones, and this is the one that you need in an emergency, right? This is the one that you don't always think about when you're looking to donate, but you definitely need in a crisis."
Member of the band, Rob Mickaly, on when this all began.
"I started it back during the pandemic, and basically just came from a love of the music of Led Zeppelin and wanting to push myself as a musician. So, I found three other like-minded individuals, and this is the result."
Tickets for the event can be purchased on the Cornish Entertainment Ltd. website and will cost $25. Tickets might also become available at pop-up locations, so keep an eye out on Cornish Entertainment Ltd.'s social media pages. The event will have doors open at 7 p.m. with music beginning at 8. The concert will last until 11 p.m., and once that is done, there will be an after-party with a live DJ until 1 a.m. You can also listen to the full interview with Rob and Ethan below.
