Currently there are no plans to change the location of the Woodstock Mass Vaccination site from Goff Hall, however they will have new hours starting on September 13.
ST. THOMAS - Southwestern Public Health is moving the COVID-19 mass vaccination clinic in St. Thomas to a smaller space in September.
The site will close at the Memorial Arena with the last day on Friday September 10 and move to a smaller space at 1230 Talbot Street. It will re-open on the following Monday, September 13th.
In a message posted online the Health Unit says they no longer need the large space at the arena.
"With more than 70% of eligible community members fully vaccinated, such a large space is no longer required. The new site will provide first and second doses by appointment or through walk-in. Hours of operation will be Monday - Friday from 9am until 12pm and 1pm until 4pm. The success of the region’s vaccination efforts is due to many individuals and organizations outside of public health staff: primary care, pharmacies, paramedic services, volunteers, and service clubs. Most important are all of you who eagerly rolled up your sleeves to be vaccinated. Thank you!"
Currently there are no plans to change the location of the Woodstock Mass Vaccination site from Goff Hall; however, as of Monday, September 13, hours of operation will be Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m.
