We could be in for a significant amount of rainfall across the region, with possible thundershowers bringing upwards of 60 mm of rain.
BRANT/OXFORD - Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement for the region as thunderstorms with heavy rain is likely this afternoon into Saturday morning.
The heavy rain and thunderstorms may be hazardous as it is projected that anywhere from of 30 to 60 mm of rainfall will come, and higher amounts are possible due to multiple thunderstorms.
There is uncertainty however surrounding where the heavy rainfall will happen, as the exact locations are unclear at this time. There may be rainfall warnings issued throughout the day.
