Environment Canada says the air quality should improve tonight, but the smoke could return tomorrow.
OXFORD - We're still under a special air quality statement in Oxford County.
The smoke from the forest fires in Quebec and northeastern Ontario is causing poor air quality in Oxford. Environment Canada says the conditions should improve tonight, but the smoke could return tomorrow.
You should stop or reduce your activity level if you start feeling sick or find it hard to breathe. You should reach out to your doctor if the symptoms feel severe.
Environment Canada says seniors, kids, pregnant mothers, those who work outdoors, and people with heart or lung disease (ex: asthma) are more at risk.
