The third edition of the Speaker Series will take place on July 19th at the Tillsonburg Library Branch.
OXFORD COUNTY - It is another installment of the Speaker Series in Oxford County.
This will be the third edition in the series, and will feature archival images and other historical items that the public has not seen in over 60 years. It is presented by Oxford County Library and Oxford County Archives. Local History Specialist, Dr. Matthew Griffis says what people can expect during his talk.
"It's the first time we've had an internal speaker, a member of library staff actually serve as the featured speaker, and the presentation that I'll give is called twice a pioneer, the history of Oxford's County Library services, and it explores the history of Oxford County Library."
Dr. Griffis talks about how people can join in.
"People can attend at the library, or they may watch live from home via zoom as space is limited for both options and both options require pre-registration."
Pre-registration can happen by calling the Library or visiting the Library's website. The event takes place at the Tillsonburg Library Branch on July 19th. It runs from 2 until 3:30 p.m.
