A new online exhibit from Oxford County Archives allows you to discover what people were cooking and eating during the First World War and pandemic years and even provides some recipes you can make with the family.
OXFORD COUNTY - The Oxford County Archives has launched a new online exhibit entitled “Spanish Flu: Food for Thought.”
The exhibit delves into the history of the Spanish Flu, and more specifically, the culinary history of the event which spanned from 1918 to 1920. Discover what people were cooking and eating during the First World War and pandemic years. Check out the interactive menu, you could even make some of the recipes at home.
