OXFORD/ST.THOMAS/ELGIN - Southwestern Public Health confirmed 56 new cases of COVID-19 over the weekend, 38 resolved cases and one additional COVID-19 related death.
The deceased is a woman in her 70's from Oxford County. This death is not related to a Long-Term Care or a Retirement Home. This is the 69th confirmed COVID-19 related death in the Southwestern Public Health Region.

East Zorra-Tavistock - 2

Norwich Township - 1

Malahide - 3
Bayham - 2
Aylmer - 1
West Elign - 1
One person is currently being treated for the virus at the hospital.
Southwestern Public Health has screened 65 people for a variant of concern, of those cases, 14 are still active. Southwestern Public Health have now administered at least one dose of vaccine to 7,618 people or 5.5% of the population.
