Environment Canada warn of the possibility for freezing rain and snow.
A mid-April blast of winter is expected to arrive later tonight.
Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement as the mild temperatures drop below freezing and the rain showers transition into snow with the risk of freezing rain Monday night.
The weather agency is calling for 2 to 4 cm of snow in Oxford County overnight Monday into Tuesday. The daytime high will be sharply colder Tuesday with the temperature remaining below freezing.
Road conditions could be hazardous with the change in temperature and percipitation. Motorists are being reminded to travel with caution and drive according the weather and road conditions.
